Integrate diggr+ in your Moodle enviornment

The diggr+ app is closely linked to Moodle and uses this platform as a secure, open-source database for all content created. In order to work with diggr+, your institution needs a functioning Moodle installation. All user accounts, courses, and learning progress are stored there and displayed via the diggr+ app.

The goal is for all course-related activities, such as planning and creating assignments, giving feedback, or managing learners, to be done directly in diggr+ without users having to return to the Moodle interface. This requires a few technical settings:

Installing Plugins

Install the two Exabis plugins via the Moodle plugin directory:
Exabis Competence Grid – course-related
Exabis ePortfolio – platform-wide

In Moodle, navigate to “Site administration” -> “Plugins” -> “Plugin overview” -> ‘ExaComp’ -> Settings -> Security. Under “Applogins URLs,” add “diggr-plus.at.”

Checking the Web Service Status

In a Moodle course, open the Exabis Competence Grid block and select “Admin settings” -> “Check Webservices.” All services must be displayed as “OK.”

If a service is not displayed as “OK,” click on the relevant service and activate it. For step 4, you will find help in the “Description” field.
The next step is to create empty Moodle courses and add them via the Exabis Competence Grid block. For information on how to add competence grids, please refer to the Exabis Competence Grid documentation.
