Integrate Dakora+
The Dakora+ app is closely linked to Moodle and uses this platform as a secure, open-source database for all content created. In order to work with Dakora+, your institution needs a functioning Moodle installation. All user accounts, courses, and learning progress are stored there and displayed via the Dakora+ app, directly via so-called web services.
This ensures that the institution retains data sovereignty. All data is stored in its own Moodle environment and is not forwarded, while the app can conveniently access the content at the same time.
The goal is for all course-related activities, such as planning and creating assignments, giving feedback, or managing learners, to be done directly in Dakora+ without users having to return to the Moodle interface. This requires a few technical settings:
Install plugins & create course
The administration installs the Exabis plugins via the Moodle plugin directory:
Exabis Competence Grid – course-related
Exabis ePortfolio – platform-wide
Exabis Learning Reports – for further documentation
The next step is to create empty Moodle courses and add digital competence grids via the Exabis Competence Grid block.
Adjust security settings
In Moodle, navigate to “Site administration” -> “Plugins” -> “Plugin overview” -> ‘ExaComp’ -> Settings -> Security.
Under “App logins URLs,” add “dakoraplus.eu” and “dev.dakoraplus.eu.”

Checking the Webservice
Open the Exabis Competence Grid block in a Moodle course and select “Website Settings” -> “Web Service Status.” All services must be displayed as “OK.”
If a service is not displayed as “OK,” click on the relevant service and activate it.
