Self-assessment

As explained in the previous chapters, reflection is a central component of the learning process. It helps learners to better understand their own learning behavior, further develop their strategies, and anchor knowledge in a lasting way.

By reflecting on a completed task, they deepen their understanding of the requirements, analyze their approach, and compare it with the specifications. In this way, they develop mental models that help them to store new knowledge in the long term.

How does this work in Dakora+?

In the “Tasks” tab, learners select a task, complete it, and upload their proof of learning. Before submitting, they reflect on the task and the associated skill. The teacher then sees the learners' self-assessment, checks the solution, and evaluates the assigned skill.
